500 MMFCD Gas Wasted On CNG – CNG Is Cheap At What Cost

According to Independent Power Producers Advisory Council (IPPAC) and All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) advertisement issued in newspaper:

Rs. 50 billion subsidy for cheap CNG or a saving of Rs. 300 bullion for affordable electricity, food security and more employment opportunities.

You decide! With the waste of natural gas due to exceedingly high use of gas in CNG

The deprivation of gas to electricity producing unites is the main cause of expensive electricity and load shedding as it produces electricity on high priced furnace oil.

If gas is available according to production capacity there will be less dependency on furnace oil, as the cost of electricity per unit will be reduced by Rs.3 on gas and the nation will get a relief of Rs. 200 bullion in electricity bills, and a substantial decrease in load shedding.
