Islamabad: Today cell phone has become the necessity of everyone, there are many advantages of cell phone but we also have to face some problems due to cell phone’s fault.
Have you ever accidentally dropped your cell phone in the sink? Did you get beaten by the rain? Your cell phone may not be waterproof, but water on your phone does not have to mean a death sentence.
Follow these steps for the best chance at keeping your cell phone alive:
- Remove the Battery: After saving your cell phone from the water, remove the battery, turn off the power. Dry the battery with a towel, and it set aside to dry thoroughly.
- Avoid Mineral Damage: If you drop your cell phone in water that isn’t pure, rinse off the phone with fresh water after you have removed the battery. Mobile will not be harmed but may be any part or feature may be damaged.
- Use an Uncooked Rice: A low-cost alternative is to place the phone in a bowl or bag of uncooked rice. The rice might absorb some remaining moisture.
- Packed it with Rice- Close the rice bowl tightly to get all the moisture you can off of the phone, also it will save from any outside air.
- Moisturize Overnight: After follow these steps, put your cell phone in a rice bowl overnight. Leave the phone with the rice at least overnight to absorb the moisture.
- Test your phone: After you have waited at least 24 hours, take out phone from the rice bowl and put the battery, turn on the cell phone and enjoy.
