Abdul Hafeez Pirzada Dies – Brief Profile & Biography

Abdul Hafeez PirzadaKarachi: Abdul Hafeez Pirzada, a famous lawyer and ex-law minister has died on Tuesday in a London hospital at the age of 80. According to the sources, Abdul Mujeeb Pirzada, his younger brother told that he was hospitalized in London for more than one month as he went through surgery on his intestine. His organ met with failure in the result of some complications due to which he died, Mujeeb added.

Abdul Mujeeb further told that he will bury in his ancestral graveyard in Sukkur as two or three days will consume in order to bring back his body from England to Sukkur. He left two sons, two daughter and a widow. In this regard, one of the senior leader of PTI told that Hafeez Pirzada got admitted at Berkshire Hospital on 8th July for the treatment of gastroenteritis.

Late Abdul Hafeez Pirzada started his career as lawyer from Sindh High Court as he completed his LLB from Karachi University and LLM from Sindh University. He was elected as MNA in 1970 as well as also emerged as first minister for culture and federal law minister at the time of Constitution 1973 was approved. However, he was also known as the author of Constitution 1973.

Pirzada who was one of the prominent lawyer of Supreme Court was hired by PTI for fighting the case of rigging in general elections 2013.
