Aerial bundled cables Installation By HESCO in Hyderabad

Hyderabad Electric Supply Corporation (HESCO) is making planning to launch and implement Aerial Bundled Cables to control the electric theft. As well as dues bill recovery ratio will be increased. According to the report HESCO will disconnect line of only those consumers are bill defaulters and rest consumers will be enjoy electric facility without load shedding. It will be implemented within one year.

HESCO Manager Saqib Kabur told that we are supplying electric to 13 districts of Sindh like Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas and others. We have disconnected 7000 connections in recent days. Further he told that around 1400 connections 256 department of Sindh government will be discontinued in few days. Sindh Public Health Engineering, Irrigation Service and Drainage Systems are top in the list of defaulters.

Hyderabad Development Authority and Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) had issued bills of 17.5 Million for the month of January and February 2017. But bills not yet paid resulting in water scarcity and drainage problem due to electric disconnection.

HESCO management told that we are trying hard to control the theft. We are doing search operation against bill defaulters with the help of police. But now we are unable to success due to our employees as they are also involved in fraudulent activities with non paid consumers. That’s why we will install Aerial Bundled Cables within one year.
