Altaf Hussain Admitted In Wellington Hospital, London

London: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain is admitted at London’s Wellington Hospital for his medical checkup on Wednesday. Altaf Hussain’s medical checkup revealed high blood sugar as he was given medicines to keep the sugar level normal due to which Altaf Hussain has to spend another night in the hospital.

The 60-years old politician, Altaf Hussain was incapable to give interview to the police due to his health situation, doctors said.  London Metropolitan Police said that Altaf Hussain will keep under the police custody throughout his stay at hospital for further treatment. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Governor Sindh Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad asked about Altaf Hussain’s health in telephonic chat.

The hospital provides cardiac facilities, neurosurgery, liver and HPB medicine, rehabilitation, gynaecology, orthopaedics, and other services. The Wellington Hospital was established on 3rd May, 2011 as the new Platinum Medical Centre. Prince Friso of Orange-Nassau, Dutch Royal Family’s member was also the patient of this hospital when he was suffering from brain damage.
