Amabni Saved Nawaz Sharif’s Life In 2000

It is reported in media that Paistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif was saved by rich Indian industrialist Dhirubhai Ambani . Dhirubhai appealedto US President Bill Clinton at that time to help Nawaz Sharif and save him. Nawaz Sharif government was toppled by military dictator Pervez Musharraf at that time.

According to Indian media former Bharatiya Janata Party president Nitin Gadkari has claimed that Ambani met Bill Clinton and appealed to US President that he must use his good relations with Pervez Musharraf in saving Nawaz Sharif. Dhirubhai told Clinton that Nawaz is a frined of mine and he is true Pakistani and wants peace in the region.

Dhirubhai Ambani Ambani feared that Musharraf will do the same with Nawaz Sharif that General Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq did with the founder of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. After Clinton visit to India he went to Pakistan where he discussed the situation with Musharraf and secured a pardon for Nawaz Sharif’s life.

Dhirubhai Ambani was Indian business tycoon, who died on 6th July, 2012. His two sons Mukesh Dhirubhai Ambani and Anil Dhirubhai Ambani are successfully running businesses in India.
