ANP Amir Nawab Khan & Amanullah Khan Masood Seek Opposition Seats

Karachi: A joint application for the allotment of seats in the opposition benches were submitted by the ANP Sindh Assembly members in the house on Friday. Similar applications had been filed by the lawmakers from other political parties including PML-L, PML-Q , PML-F and National People’s Party a day before.Sindh-Assembly-image

Khadim Hussain Leghari, the staff officer to the Sindh Assembly speaker received the application by the ANP Parliamentary leader Amir Nawab Khan that stated to allot opposition benches to him and his party member and lawmaker Amanullah Khan Masood.

The parliamentary leader while talking to newsmen said that his party was not taken into confidence while the promulgation in  Sindh People’s Local Government Ordinance was done. We enjoy great strength in Sindh and would not coaliate with the government until the reservations are not addressed, said the leader.

He expressed the concern for democracy and said that through opposition benches they look forward to serving the masses.

Applications of the lawmakers that are yet needed to be approved by the deputy speaker of the Sindh Assembly include Arbab Zulfiqar, Mohammad Ali Malkani, Nuzhat Pathan, Abdul Sattar, Mir Ghulam Abid Sundrani, Arif Mustafa Jatoi, Shahryar Mahar, Marvi Rashdi, Nusrat Sehar, Shamsuddin Rajar, Rahim Bux Buzdar of the PML-F, Dr Rafique Bhanban, Razzaq Rahimoo, Abid Hussain Jatoi, Masroor Khan Jatoi, Ali Ghulam Nizamani and Syed Hussain Shah Shirazi.
