Asthma Problems in Pakistan Increasing Among Children

According to reports around 7.5 Million adults and 15 Million children suffer from asthma in Pakistan. There are many reasons behind this like increasing of urban population, intercity industries, air pollution and other environmental factors. This research was conducted by Associate Professor of Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH).

Around 5 % adult of total population and 10 % children of total population suffer from asthma and it is increasing from last 2 decades. Dr. Nawal Salahuddin Associate Professor at AKUH said that is very danger for lungs and chest due to this reason problem of coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath, respiratory tract and other symptoms vary from time to time and individual and individual.

Head of Chest Department Jinnah Hospital Professor Doctor Nadeem Ahmed Rizvi addressing a conference with senior medical students told that asthma treatment possible through enabliser around the world other than Pakistan. Patients frequently ask question about disadvantages of enabliser.
