National Assembly’s speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq presented to election tribunal and recorded his statement on Saturday in which he said that no rigging has been done in his constituency NA-122 and election was done according to law. After recounting in his constituency, he has won with 8500 votes, Ayaz Sadiq added in his statement.
On the other hand, Imran Khan’s lawyer did cross examination with Ayaz Sadiq, however lawyers of both parties will present definitive evidences in the next hearing off election tribunal. After recording his statement at election tribunal, Ayaz Sadiq said while talking to the media that character assassination and media trial of him have been done for 128 days despite of any evidence against him regarding rigging in NA-122 constituency.
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq further said while talking to the media that he will not speak on the proceedings of election tribunal because the matter is still pending but he said that neither I am the judge nor Imran Khan, court will make decision according to the evidences regarding rigging nor on anyone’s desires.
