Bahadurabad Chowrangi: Police Constables Killed

police constables targetedKarachi: Two police constables have been killed near Bahadurabad Chowrangi by armed men on Thursday in the afternoon. According to the details, the officials of New Town police station told that Head Constable Abdul Ghaffar and Head Constable Abdul Ghaffar who were deployed at the Aga Khan post-office were making rounds of the area on a motorcycle and got targeted by some armed men on motorcycles.

Head of the emergency department of the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, Dr Seemin Jamali told that both injured police constables were brought to the hospital but they were found dead. According to an autopsy report, both policemen died due to the several bullet wounds in the head and chest. The killers attacked on the head of police constables as they both wore bullet proof jackets, police added. On the other hand, seven bullet shells of 0.9mm pistol have also been found by investigators from the crime location.

Abdul Ghaffar who was 31 years old was a resident of Yusuf Goth in New Karachi and he belonged from Larkana. Similarly Abdul Ghaffar was 35 years old and lived in Chapal Garden in Gulshan as he hailed from Garhi Yasin, Shikarpur. It is pertinent to mention that several attacks have been made in the locality during the several past months due to which people of the area are in panic situation.
