Head of Khattak Ittehad Mir Zaqeem said that unaccompanied women in Market are not only Pukhtoon Tradition but also against Islam. He also asked shopkeepers to reject selling goods to those women who would visit market alone or without proper covering.

These clerics also met local administration and asked them to implement this rule but they rejected to follow clerics suggestions. On other hand, women rights foundations have started protest against this decision.
Many people are also rejecting this confused decision from Khattak committee. A man said that implementing some Islamic teachings on micro level will help foreign hands to defame Islam. If they are sincere with Islam them they should follow Quran and Sunnah and work for complete Islamic system, A Young Guy said.

It’s a stupid out dated ideal of aen Islamic law. True knowlage of Islam is the only thing that’s going to make any difference. But these mullahs don’t know any thing about Islam. Their Islam starts with women and ends with women. They need to clean their minds before they can go around imposing these stupid laws.

actually every body is talking about this and every body will think off this a kind of decision not to be taken and against our religion, etc etc
and for information the region where this decision is taken is the region where the literacy rate for woman is so much high than i think in any Pakistani place , like this in my class of BSc we male were 17 out of 42 and female strength was 25 and in my master we male were 18 and 32 female were with us in class and the environment was fantastic with nice mind setup and cooperation,
i want to say that this is not the place of cruelty where females are just arrested in their homes ( i think someone means that the wives of suhabah and our holy prophet were arrested in home ), but the reason of this decision is this , that in Ramadan during ifthar timing every body is in bazaar in our region and i personally don’t want that my sisters and family members are just stared by them ( if i am with all of them or not ), in common days the case is different.this is for the safety and respect of our family members , this is because we don’t want that our family is insulted at any micro level.
