Black Magic Through Social Media?

Jeddah: A video footage on social media is spreading these days in Saudi Arabia in which Sudan magician claimed that magic is possible through the images on Instagram, Twitter and other social networking platforms. A video footage has been given to a former magician Hamid Musa’s Saudi Arabian Television Channel One.

A few days ago, talking to Saudi TV, Mr. Hamid said that magic can be done on someone through the images on social networking. Mr. Hamid that not give any further explanations in this regard but he said that a call from Africa from unknown person on Whatsapp could be dangerous for another person because magic is possible through the image on Whatsapp.

In the past few years, Saudi religious police has detained and executed by the court several African people and other foreigners in the same manner as magic is punishable by death in Saudi Arabia. According to the Al Arabiya.net, social media has sparked a new debate after the TV interview video clip of the Sudanese sorcerer Hamid Musa. When the magic possibility is revealed through pictures on social media, citizens are suffering from an unseen fear.
