Jihaad Movement which was the objective of life and center of activities of Syed Ahmed Shaheed failed due to the following reasons;
1. The battle fought between Ranjeet Singh and Syed Ahmed Shahee was characterized by the use of modern weapons by Ranjeet Singh while Mujahideen were having traditional weapons. Obviously, modern and sophisticated weapons could not be faced with the outstanding and tradition weapons.
2. Ranjeet Singh acquired the services of Western generals like Ventora and Elite for training his soldiers and the battle was also fought with the modern weapons. Mujahideen were ignorant of modern war strategy.
3. Mujahideen were short of funds while the enemy was having enormous funds in possession & use.
4. Ranjeet Singh was well aware of fact that so long Mujahideen had unity of tought & act.
