According to the sources, Dr. Asim Hussain has revealed the corruption of NAB’s Chairman Chaudhary Qamar Zaman during the Rangers’ interrogation while providing evidences in this case in which record of money transfer was also provided. Sources also claimed that Dr. Asim Hussain also claimed in his statement NAB’s Chairman gave him clean chit by taking bribe of Rs 1.5 billion as there were several accusations and corruption scandal against him. [alert style=”white”] If rangers did not arrest me, then I would have been acquitted of all charges, Dr. Asim Hussain said. [/alert]
However, NAB which is the public organization of transparent accountability is involved in corruption therefore it is impossible to take action against corrupt people at the situation when institution is involved in corruption itself. Meanwhile, the country is in the process of accountability but several questions will start to raise on the organization after these shocking scandals.
It is worth mentioning here that Dr. Asim Hussain who is known as close aide of former President Asif Ali Zardari is under detained of Sindh Rangers for 90-days remand.
On the other hand, Dr. Asim Hussain has also admitted to providing shelter to hundreds of target killers of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in his hospital Zia-Uddin. Meanwhile he also disclosed that he also has good relations with several important MQM’s leader such as Dr. Farooq Sattar, Dr Nadeem Nusrat, Adil Siddiqui, Dr Sagheer, and Mustafa Azizabadi while further revealing that he appointed Dr Yousuf Sattar Memon as an executive on the request of MQM’s leaders.

It is noteworthy that Dr.Asim Hussain is accused of 1500 illegal inductions which were made on the order s of Dr. Asim in SSGC. Although Sui Gas Company also claimed that Dr. Asim Hussain also ordered the allotment of commercial gas connections.
