Chief Selector Moin Khan Tells Why Sarfaraz Ahmed Dropped from ODI Series

Moin KhanKarachi: Chief Selector Moin Khan met with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s chairman Shaharyar M Khan at National Stadium Karachi in order to discuss bad performance of Pakistan. Mion Khan told why Sarfaraz Ahmed dropped from ODI series while saying that it was first series of Chief Selector and pacer Waqar Younis as a coach who wanted to see Umar Akmal as a wicket keeper in place of Sarfaraz Ahmed.

It is worth mentioning that Sarfaraz Ahmed Performed well in test series and people were demanding his in ODI Series against Sri Lanka. Chief Selector Moin Khan also presented the report of Sri Lankan’s performance and discussed for the next series with PCB’s chairman Shaharyar M Khan. Moin Khan also advised to PCB’s chairman for the bold step before the World Cup. After meeting with the Shaharyar M Khan, Chief Selector Moin Khan told to media that Board has an authorization for the appointment of Captain but if this matter will discuss with him then he will speak his advice because team is directly affected by the Captain’s performance. When Chief Selector of Pakistan cricket team asked for the possible name for captaincy, he replied that this is not my field. He also said that Misbah-ul-Haq has seen after a long time in bad performance otherwise he used to play a role of anchor in the team.
