The total rape cases that was registered in 2013 was 2,576 out of which 167 was of female child rape cases including the 5-year-old girl rape case of Lahore outside Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on September. The gang rape cases that occurred during house robberies are not included in this list, according to police report.

Rahim Yar Khan was on the top of list for gang rapes with a number of 222 cases which is followed by Faisalabad where 214 sexual assault cases took place. 141 occurred in Bahawalpur, 102 in Sheikhupura, 102 in Muzaffargarh, 77 in Kasur, 68 in Khanewal, 74 in Chiniot, 55 in Layyah and 33 in Mandi Bahauddin.
