Definition Of Ideology Of Pakistan

Prior to determine the definition of Ideology of Pakistan, it is imperative to know the meaning of word ‘Pakistan’. Before partition of India, the whole of the country was called ‘India’. India (Hindustan) is composed of two words; first ‘Hindu’ and second ‘Isthan’ (a Hindi word distorted as ‘istan’ which means place).

In other words, Hindustan means the place where Hindus live. But Hindus were not only the nation in undivided India. A large number of Muslims were also living with Hindus. As both nations were having different identities therefore, they could not live together because:

a) Hindus were worshipping hundreds of gods while Muslims were having concepts of one GOD (ALLAH) only.

b) Hindus were not meat eaters while the Muslims were.

c) Hindus were burning their dead people but Muslims were burying them.
