By providing agricultural education to the rural folks we can develop our agriculture to desirable extent. For this purpose it is necessary that farmers should be trained to use and repair agricultural machineries such as tractors, combines and threshers etc and the correct use of insecticides and suitable fertilizers.
Further they can be trained to make proper use of irrigation water neither too much nor less. The farmers can be advised about rotation of crops. The staff of agriculture department if it is well qualified in agricultural subjects and well trained then it can perform tremendous and worthwhile work as field workers and train the farmers at the spot or open kachries.
If model farms are established in all the big size villages and the farmers are allowed to visit these farms in suitable groups once in a week or fortnight then they can be trained more properly.
