Faisalabad: Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah alleged on Sunday that the threat letter to Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) Chair Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was actually written by Former Interior Minister Rehman Malik, also of PPP, news reportedly.
On Thursday, Bilawal Bhutto tweeted that he has been threatened by Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) via a letter. He tweeted “Received threat letter from LEJ. Will hold Punjab govt responsible 4 LEJ attacks if Sharif cont 2 give them protection & refuse2 take action”.
Later, in response to a tweet from Senator Rehman Malik in which he said “I hv been consistently asking action agst LEJ to finish target killing in Kar.Threat of LEJ to BBZardari is violation of Talban Jungbandi”.
Speaking about threats to PPP chairman, Rana Sanaullah, in General Hospital in Faisalabad, said that according to initial investigations the threat letter had been written by Rehman Malik to Bilawal to slander Punjab government.
Talking to media in General Hospital after opening ceremony of Thalassemia Centre here in Faisalabad, provincial minister claimed that Malik had done such cheap things in the last five years. Because to damage to the Punjab government, and further added that former interior minister is a liar.
Pakistani politician and government minister also added that if Bilawal Bhutto visits Punjab he would be greeted and provided full security and safety. Advocate in the Supreme Court of Pakistan and Minister for Law said Taliban do not look serious in negotiation and for accomplishment of peace process TTP should declare unconditional ceasefire.
