A few days ago in Supreme Court, it was disclosed that Karachi’s SP Anti Encroachment officer Aarif Aziz was a Don of Land Mafia. According to Supreme Court, Aarif Aziz has links with Land Mafia while Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali has sa0di that Aarif was the head of Land Mafia. On the other hand Karachi Police’s SSP Malir Rao Anwar was also disclosed as a Don.
In the report published by Dunya News, it was stated that SSP Rao Anwar was a dangerous officer and was an Underworld Don. He gained fame by participating in the 1992 operations of Karachi. He was transferred to Khusdar after the government of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) was finished.

A time came when orders were given to dismiss SSP Malir but no action was taken to remove him from his post. After the return of PPP, doors of Sindh were reopened for Rao Anwar. Then he was appointed as DSP of Kimari after which started to smuggle oil from Iran and was included in other criminal acts.
When he was made the SSP of Malir, the crime of Land Grabbing reached its peak. He was removed from his post after Abbas Town incident in which he reached the place after a long delay. But later on he was again given his post of Malir.
