Selling of drugs which has increased immensely in Faisalabad is highlighting by media these days as drug sale scandal in Faisalabad has become a topic of discussion on all over the media. Media is clearly showing that shopkeepers are selling drugs without any fear in Faisalabad and running their business of drugs very openly in the day time also.
Drugs’ Mandis have been set into several areas of Faisalabad such as Madina Town, Ghulam Muhammadabad, Razabad, Yasir Town, Millat Town, Samnabad and Nishatabad as these areas are near to the Dera of Rana Sanaullah who is well known politician and government minister belongs to Faisalabad. Drug addicts are purchasing drugs by standing in the long rows from these drug mandis. This business was secretly running in the past but now it is running openly as purchasing are purchasing drugs openly while shopkeepers are also selling drugs in an open manner.
In this regard, sources revealed that some officials of police are also involved in this business who are not taking any against these shopkeepers. However complaints have also received by DCO Faisalabad, Police Department from people of Faisalabad but they are not taking effective steps due to which drugs business is spreading more successfully.
