Election Commission of Pakistan has launched Android App for local government elections through which people will be able to get complete details of voting for local elections of this year. The application has launched with the name LGE 2015 in order to provide complete details regarding voting procedure which is going to be held in Sindh and Punjab on 19th November, 2015.
All users of Android can download LGE 2015 app from their app store as they can get complete assessment regarding the remaining two phases of the elections. It is worth mentioning here that local bodies election contains three phases as one phase has been completed while 2nd and 3rd phase will held on 19th November and 5th December respectively.
Meanwhile, an app is set to provide limited accessibility to the following three options:
- HONBLE CEC MESSAGE
- HOW TO CAST YOUR VOTE (PUNJAB)
- HOW TO CAST YOUR VOTE (SINDH)
However, some improvements are also expected to be added in this newly launched app so that users can get more and more information from this app. In the coming updates of the app, people will also be able to see eligibility of their registration and voting as well as location capabilities will be added to this soon through which people will come to know about their nearest polling station.
