Islamabad: Minister Of State for Water and Power Chaudhry Abid Sher Ali has vowed to end the power crisis by 2017. He said that six sites have been allocated for establishing nuclear power plants across the country.
Addressing at the Korea-South Asia Power Forum the State Minister said that Pakistan is inflicted with worst power supply. ‘Steps are being taken to meet the demands’, he added.
He has vowed of ending up the power crisis in the upcoming years. He stated that power crisis has adversely affected the masses and economic conditions of the country. ‘To deal with the issues, concrete development projects are underway. The projects may take up to several years and heavy investment’, said the minister.
On the occasion, Abid Sher Ali told that special energy parks and Hydroelectricity projects have been initiated by the respective state department. While for the installation of the nuclear power plants, six sites have been allocated. Abid opined that 60,000 megawatt electricity can be generated in Pakistan.
Pertinent here is to mention that the same promise was made by the former Prime Minister, Raja Pervez Ashraf. The PPP regime minister of Water and Power had also vowed of ending the power crisis. But, noting was done to attain the objective.
Ali had also urged the Korean companies through the platform to invest in the power projects. Once again, the Water and Power minister has come up with pledge of resolving the crisis. He seems to be engaged to tackle the issue. But like the former Minister, he might end up with unfulfilled promises.
astonishing, who are writing fate of Pakistani, nation, the people who are even have no ability to run an office, this is wrath of god on that nation–certainly ministers have no manners to talk,in each talk they are expressing their jealousy–Abid sher ali look to be shepherd, god mercy on that nation.
FOR ALL CURRENT MINISTER OF PAKISTAN, all must get training to deal society, they lack manners.
