A senior official of Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources also mention that file has also been sent to the Establishment Division for a notification. However the post of MD of PSO got vacant when Pervaiz Janjua removed by the government due to severe petrol crisis in Punjab and KPK. It is pertinent to mention that two names were also suggested along with Imranul Haque for the post of MD of PSO which were Wasi Khan and Qaiser Jamal. Wasi Khan who is serving as CEO of Byco Refinery’s oil trading business and Qaiser jamal who is ex senior office-holder of Byco.
