Establishment Of Educational Institutions By Sir Syed Ahmed

Sir Syed Ahmed Khan was fully aware of the fact the distinctive attitude of English with the Muslims and the social and economic downafll of them was caused by latred with English language and to take it against Islam. He, for promoting the idea of acquiring the modern sciences, started an academic movement which at last adopted the Muslim University Aligar Movement.

He on the basis of this thought, began to establish schools at different places. Sir Syed established first school at Muradabad in 1859 second school (Victoria School) was established at GhaziPur in 1863 third school was established in 1875 at Aligarh with name MAO School Muslim Aligarh Oriented School which converted into Muslim Aligarh Oriented College in 1877 foundation stone of this institution was laid down by Vice Roy Lord Minton.
