Famous Political Forum Siasatpk Blocked, Back With Siasat.net

SiasatpkFamous political forum Siasatpk has blocked on the order of government as announcement was made on the official page of the website. However the reason behind the blocking of Siasatpk has not revealed yet but according to the sources, DNS records of Siasat.pk has been removed from Nexus which is known as Islamabad based hosting company.

On the other hand, admin of Siasatpk claimed that no warning was given before about the blocking of the website but notification was received through email from the hosting company Nexus which t is registrant for siasat.pk. It was mention in the email that Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) wants them to shut down Siasatpk quickly therefore Siasatpk has been shutdown according to the orders of FIA by removing DNS entries of the website.

On the other hand, Siasatpk further told that they have contacted with Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) who said that they have taken no action in this regard while FIA claimed that orders of shutdown was issued by PTA.

Meanwhile, Adeel Habib who is used to manage Siasatpk told that servers name of Siasatpk have removed from Nexus.pk due to which website become inaccessible. Siasatpk also asked about the issue from Nexus.pk but even they don’t know reasons behind the shutdown as they are responsible to follow the strategy of Law of enforcement. Adeel Habib shared his message through his tweet:

Adeel Habib also said that threats were also received by them from higher officials by ordering to shut down Siasatpk within minutes.  He revealed about the threat of higher authorities in a post of Siasatpk in which he also advised people to use Siasat.net and Siasat.org in case of shutdown of the website. However, Adeel Habib has told about the temporary solution of using Siasatpk while saying that efforts are being made to back with siasat.net.

It is a force shutdown as we had not received any kind of threat and order during from any governmental source during the last few months, Adeel added.

Even after passing several hours of blockage of Siasatpk, no information has been appeared regarding who ordered to shut down Siasatpk and what are the reasons behind it. However several questions and doubts have been raised on the reliability of .PK domains as well as on the censorship of the internet.
