Famous Politicians who didn’t Vote in Senate Election 2015

Sindh assemblyIslamabad: As Senate election 2015 is emerging as hot topic of politics these days due to several controversies as Senate election 2015 is facing allegations of bribe and horse trading. There are lots of some famous politicians who showed their opposition against Senate election 2015 by claiming several objections in this regard.

Famous politicians who refused to give their votes in Sindh assembly for the Senate election 2015 are as follows:

  • Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif
  • Pervez Elahi
  • Fehmida Mirza
  • Ameen Fahim
  • Shaikh Rasheed
  • Jamshed Dasti
  • Zafar Ullah Jamali
  • Amir Dogar and several others.

MNA Jamshed Dasti had earlier declared that he will not cast his vote while other MNAs Shaikh Rasheed and Aamir Dogar also boycotted the Senate election a day before by claiming that they do not want to become part of the alleged election which is full of bribe and horse trading. MNAs also demanded to take serious and effective steps for the elimination of horse trading which is emerging on its peak in the election due to which whole process of election is getting corrupted. It is worth mentioning here that polling also got resumed for some time in few cities or areas over horse trading allegations.

However these politicians has showed their irresponsible behavior for not casting their vote in Senate election as it is the major responsibility of every politician to cast their vote in any case.
