Analyst Orya Maqbool Jan has claimed that Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) senior leader Farooq Sattar will soon join a new political party. Orya said this in a show “Harf e Raz” which airs from Neo TV. The show is hosted by Owais Iqbal and Orya Maqbool gave his views on different topics/issues.
Farooq Sattar is one of the most senior leader of MQM. He is Deputy convener in MQM. Few people knew his full name which is Muhammad Farooq Sattar Peerwani. He has completed his medical degree in 1986 from Sindh Medical College (SMC). In 1987 he has became Mayor of Karachi.

It is pertinent to mention here that former leaders of MQM have joined new political party Pak Sarzameen Party which was founded by Mustafa Kamal. Other prominent members of this party are Anees Ahmed Qaimkhani, Raza Haroon, Dr Sagheer Ahmed, Waseem Aftab, Anees Khan Advocate and Iftikhar Alam.
