FIA Inspector Lubna Tawana Takes Charge of Airport Immigration

Lubna TawanaKarachi: Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) inspector Lubna Tawana who is the first Assistant Director of FIA has taken charge of Quaid-e-Azam International Airport’s Immigration on Wednesday. Inspector Lubna Tawana said while talking to a newspaper that several doors have been opened for female officers in FIA from her appointment to the position. It has proved from my appointment that women are not left behind from men in any field, she added.

In reply to a question, Lubna Tawana said that she had an excellent experience as SHO in Women Police Station. She also added that her time as an SHO ended soon on unknown reason which was not really good for her. Lubna Tawana who is expert and all-rounder in her field joined Sindh Police in 1994 as an inspector and served as SHO in Women Police Station for a quite long time. Later she joined FIA on deputation and served in various circles of FIA but mostly she remained assigned on immigration post in the department.

FIA is famous investigation agency of Pakistan which is responsible to investigate criminal activities and handles anti-terrorism, anti-fascism, anti-corruption cases in order to protect interests of people.
