The firing incident occurred after the argument between the two groups of PTI who are contesting intra party elections. Both the group accused each other of rigging the intra party elections. Member of both groups have demanded that PTI senior leadership should look into the matter and solve this issue.
According to insiders in the PTI both the groups wanted to win at any cost, however the incident of firing has upset the senior leadership of the party and they have said that these type of incidents will only hurt the image of the party.
