London: Mustafa Kamal, the former Karachi mayor is in Dubai these days. It has been learnt through the sources. These days he is busy staying up in Dubai. Presently he is working at the Bahria Town Project, owned by one of the influential and wealthy businessmen of Pakistan, Malik Riaz.
Mustafa is busy in carrying out activities of Bahria Town Project. Approval for the project has been sought by the Dubai government. Once approved, Mustafa would take the charge of supervision. Hence, would stay up in Dubai.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has had remained off the media for quite a long time. His absence from the party related matters had aroused several questions upon the MQM relations with its party member.
Unreliable news sources had circulated of the differences between Kamal and the other party members.
When a news correspondent questioned over Mustafa’s absence, Babar boldly rejected rumors. He said that we are in contact with Mustafa through telephone and emails. And news relating to Mustafa’s differences with the party is ‘untrue’.
Update: According latest Media Reports, Syed Mustafa Kamal has resigned from Senate Seat. He was Senate Member on behalf of MQM. He resigned due to some personal issues, media reported.
There are some reports in media that Mustafa Kamal submitted his resignation many days back but party didn’t submit it to chairman Senate. Another Media reports claimed previous statement as speculation.
