Different sports person have joined different political parties in past. Sarfaraz Nawaz has joined Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM); Amir Sohail joined PML-N. Imran Khan has his own party (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) which is now a days on seventh sky.
Few months ago there was a rumour that Pakistan cricket star Shahid Afridi has joined Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM), but recently in an interview Shahid Afridi denied these reports.
It will be interesting to see that how many sports person will join political parties in future.
