FPCCI President Zakaria Usman Rejects Call For Civil Disobedience

FPCCIKarachi: The Federation of Pakistan Cham­bers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) President Zakaria Usman has rejected call for civil disobedience which was raised by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s chairman Imran Khan against the government during Azadi March at Islamabad. According to the details, businessmen and other communities are not in the favor of “Civil Disobedience Movement”.

Zakaria Usman said while completely rejecting call for civil disobedience that civil obedience movement is not a practical act as it will damage the country”s economy and its image as well. He said that business communities could not afford of bank loans by becoming a nonpayers as it is completely an irrelevant movement against government. These types of illegal movements of PTI in the tag of revolution are just diverting people which will lead country to the economic destruction as well as heading towards red zone should be avoided by the protesting people and PTI.

FPCCI president further added that development of country could not be in progress without the money of tax because due to tax money, country is able to run. In this regard, Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI) President Mohammad Asim Siddiqi also said that no future plans were delivered by PTI as well as they have no answer about the future economic stability which is the first step for the progress of the country. Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) and Site Association of Trade and Industry also rejected recent call of Imran Khan.
