Goats and Camel In Pakistan

Goats: In mountainous areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Baluchistan large number of goats are reared for getting mutton and skin. Goats are also reared in Potwar plateau Punjab and in Tharparkar Sindh. In Hazara district Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Angora goats (Turkish breed) are reared which produce fine hair ”Pashmine” which in used for making fine woolen shawls and blankets.

Camels: Camels is nick named as ship of desert. It is reared in Tharparkar, Nara, Thal and Cholistan deserts and Makran and Faran of Baluchistan. 
They easily walk in sandy areas with their padded feet and can live without food and water for many days. They are used to plough and for lifting water from wells and also used in camel cats in cities.
