Government Failed to Fulfill Promise with Injured APS Student

Ahmed NawazPeshawar: It is sad to know that government is not fully aiding to the victims of Peshawar attack as it has ruined the life of many people on 16th December 2014. Similarly an injured student of Army Public School of Peshawar who got arm injuries during attack and shifted to Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) is suffering from severe pain due to injuries on his arm.

Unfortunately, a student named as Ahmed Nawaz could not be treated at LRH as he could also lose his arm for which he and his family is seeking for the government help who made promises to his father Muhammad Nawaz to give Rs3.5 million for Ahmad’s treatment in England as well as federal government also announced to move him to any other hospital in the world in order to get proper treatment for his injuries. However 11 days has been passed after this declaration by government but father of Ahmed Nawaz got no response in this regard and Ahmed is still fighting with his injuries day by day at LRH where doctors are only enable to give him pain killer in order to decrease his pain.

Muhammad Nawaz, a father of injured student has already lost his one son in the attack named as Haris Nawaz who was just 14 years old and now he is not able to see his another son in this kind of unbearable pain as he cries everyday due to the pain after waking up. Although official authorities has been in contact with Muhammad Nawaz for 11 days for his son’s treatment but they are not giving any resulted statement in this case as Muhammad Nawaz is losing hope from the government day by day. It has been saying by the government from the very first day that case is being processed as it is necessary to take an appointment from the doctor and hospital in England which is pursuing by Minister for Health Shahram Tarakai.

Muhammad Nawaz is also complaining that his son is not providing that kind of medical treatment which was received by Malala Yousafzai who was also became of victim of terrorists’ attacks like his son as government is differentiating among these two. [alert style=”white”]It is pertinent to mention that Ahmed Nawaz’s father is one of the protesters who protested against the chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan during his visit to targeted APS.[/alert]

Hopeless father of injured victim who is a student of class 9th is begging for medical assistance to the government who is not fulfilling its promise with injured APS student as it is the right of offended father to get the best treatment for his son. It may be possible that there are many cases like that who could not come into limelight in media like this case of Ahmed Nawaz but it is the responsibility of government to provide help to every victim of Peshawar incident and do not make their government fail in this regard whether any case come into media or not.
