Government of Sindh and Balochistan Announces Public Holiday On 4th April, 2012

Government of Sindh and Government of Balochistan has announced public holiday on 4th April, 2012 (Wednesday) in Sindh and Balochistan respectively. The public holiday is announced in account of Pakistan Peoples Party Founding leader Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’s 33rd Death Anniversary.

Private and government schools, colleges, universities will remain close on 4th April, 2012. Government offices will also remain close whereas private offices and bossiness will remain open.

University of Karachi will also remain close on 4th April, 2012 (Wednesday). A student of International Relations department of Karachi University said while talking to this reporter that because of different strikes, mourning day and holiday’s teachers are unable to complete the course of the semester and it would have been better if Sindh Government would have not announced public holiday on 4th April, 2012.
