Gullu Butt Released on Bail

Lahore: The active member of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Gullu Butt has released on bail this Tuesday. According to the details, the Lahore High Court division has given order to release Gullu Butt on bail as he was arrested during the clashes between Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) where he was brazenly hitting the vehicles without any fear.

The lawyer of Shahid Aziz aka Gullu Butt claimed that my client Shahid was mentally unfit and has no past crime record, so he demaged the vehicles in an anger state because he was attacked by some people during the clash firstly. The lawyer had further argued before Butt’s release that those vehicles did not related to the activists of PAT as Gullu Butt was unjustly involved by the police in that case. So Gullu Butt’s should be release on bail because those wrongdoings committed by the suspect are completely bailable. After receiving bail application of Butt by his lawyer, LHC also asked for investigation record from police on 5^th of August.

The investigating police officer of Faisal Town also told to the court that no one from the owners of damaged cars appeared in the case investigation. However, after hearing the whole case, a two-member bench of the high court released Shahid Aziz on bail with the penalty of Rs 200, 000.
