Gwadar Will Become The Hub Of The Region, Prime Minister

Haripur: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that Gwadar will become the hub of the region as soon as possible as there are plans to design Gwadar ports on the model of international ports. Nawaz Sharif said while addressing to an opening ceremony of Hazara Motorway that Pakistan-China Economic Corridor will benefit the people of the region as well as school, college, universities and hospitals will be established in the area.

Nawaz Sharif also said while directing the completion of Hazara motorway till December 2016 that the project is progressing rapidly and the foundation of second phase will be laid down from Havelis to Mansehra.4 -Way Street will be built from Mansehra to Thakot in the third phase of the project, he added.

Prime Minister further told that work has also started over the Karachi to Hyderabad Motorway while we are also all set to lay down the foundation of Lahore to Karachi Motorway which is instructed to be complete within three years. He added that motorways will also be made from Gwadar to Quetta, Zhob and Dera Ismail Khan while government is also planning to build motorway and highways in Gilgit Baltistan and Khyber Pakhunkhuwa.
