Karachi: The famous Pakistani actor and director Hamza Ali Abbasi has resigned from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Culture Secretary as announcement came from a post from his Facebook’s official account on Tuesday. According to the details, Hamza Ali Abbasi said in his post that he is inappropriate to serve as PTI’s culture secretary due to his recent film which is somehow against to our culture.
The young and talented actor further added in his post that the film script is very good as it is amazingly written but there are some content which is against to our culture for which he also opposed. However Hamza also said that by doing this film, he is going against what he speak so he thinks that he is not perfect to work as PTI’s culture representative. According to the sources Hamza’s upcoming film’s name is “Jawani Phir Nahi Ani” which will release after this year.
Hamza Ali Abbasi was actively involved in PTI as he made his appearances with PTI’s chief Imran Khan and other PTI members on several events especially in PTI’s sits-ins in Islamabad last year.
