High Court Of Pakistan – Brief Profile

The highest court of the province is the High Court which secures the basic rights of the people living in a particular province. This court is composed of one Chief Justice and other judges. All the judges are appointed with the mutual consultation of the provincial government and the President of Pakistan.

The High Court has the vast powers and it not only looks after the matters pertaining to the lower courts of the province but also hears the appeal made against the decisions given by the lower courts.

The decision down taken by the highest court of law of the province is High Court. The High Court can transfer any case from one to the other court. This court frames the laws and regulations for all other subordinate courts.
