Karachi University students started it and now this year they will celebrate this day also. Hijab Day will also be celebrated in Lahore universities. In Karachi University Valentine’s Day is celebrated by only few students whereas most of the students are against Valentine’s Day.
A student of Visual Studies while talking with our correspondent said that most of the students are against Valentine’s Day and only few of them celebrate this. She said that Pakistani media promotes this day a lot which is not right as people living in Pakistan are not in favor of these type of days which misleads society.
It is pertinent to mention her e that International Hijab Day was observed on 4th September in Pakistan and rallies were also held.
