There are reports that schools and colleges will remain close on 28thOctober (Monday) on the occasions of Abdullah Shah Ghazi urs. The Administrator of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC), Saqib Ahmed Soomro has announced that local holiday will be on 28th October on the occasion of Urs of Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi.
There are no announcements from schools management till now and parents are in confusion that whether school will open or remain close. It is expected that some schools will be remain open and most of the school will observe holiday. KMC notification regarding holiday announcement has already been made.
However government universities including University of Karachi, NED University of Engineering and Technology, private universities will remain open on Monday and classes will be held as usual.
