Hyderabad Central Jail`s Superintendent Younus Masih Facing Threats

Hyderabad: Younus Masih, Hyderabad Central Jail’s Manager is facing serious danger to his life by means of telephonic dialogue between Taliban leaders. According to the sources, two Taliban leaders were caught by saying that a team had been sent to take out Mr Masih.  Recently it has revealed that a extremely proficient team of activists has been sent to caught him due to the mistreatment with the some high-profile prisoners and for the reason that he is a non-Muslim.

The high-profile criminals were belonging to the TTP, Lashkar-i-Jhangvi, Sipah-i-Sahaba, Jundullah and some political parties. Omar and three others, Sheikh Adil, Salman Saqib and Fahad Naseem were sentenced to death by an anti-terrorism court on July 15, 2002 for the murder of the Journal reporter.

Omar was locked up in Hyderabad Central Jail’s Cell No 2 at the Security Ward 5. Omer had tried to commit suicide in his cell on February 12. Police and spy agencies had confirmed that Omar wanted to contact the Taliban. Daniel Pearl’s was kidnapped in Karachi in January 2002 while studying on a story about militants. He was later killed by the militants.

Jail authorities have increased police and Rangers posts and placed sand-filled bags around the jail and removed the major bus stand of the city, Baldia Bus Stand, located near the prison. Assistant Manager Agha Mohammad Naeem Ghauri was gunned down at Nabbu Fakir Chowk in Tando Tayyab on Aug 10 last year.

Talking to the media, Mr Masih confirmed that he had been told to limit his movement because of a new threat to his life.
