Hyderabad: Fines and Penalties Imposed On Shop Owners

hyderabad-mapHyderabad judicial commission court imposes fines and penalties of around 21,100 rupees to each sweets shops, kitchen centre and small traders against labor laws. These traders and shops owners are not following the labor laws. It is a serious violation of labor laws.

Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (HMC) raided the bakeries and nimco shops impose fines of Rs. 3,000 up to 10,000 rupees for poor hygienic standards. Department In-charge Tauheed Ahmed pointed out lack of cleanliness and hygienic standards. Hyderabad Mayor Syed Tayyab Hussain warned all the bakeries and nimco shops owners to follow health and cleanliness standards otherwise shops will be sealed.

Shop ownerss paid the fines and submit affidavit in which they expressed we will fully implement labor laws in organization. According to the labor inspector these fines and penalties is lesser than their violation.

Head of Hyderabad labor department division and commercial establishment Hameed Hussian Ansari mentioned following names those who were fined.

  3. Adil Bakery
  4. Saif Mineral Water Filter Company
  5. Master Pakwan Centre
  6. Mehfoos Pakwan Centre
  7. Shahid and Arshad Pakwan Centre
  8. Borjan Pvt. Ltd.
  9. Marhaba Sweets
  10. Rahat Sweets

Opinion

Shop owners should implement health, cleanliness and hygienic standards in their shops. They should getting regular medical checkups of the working staff and obtain medical certificates from government hospitals. They should also implement labor rules and regulations and provide relevant facilities and benefits to their employees.  That’s why they can make better standards of living.
