Indain Channel Rishtey Starting Humsafar In India

Indian channel “Rishtey” will broadcast Pakistan’s block buster drama Humsafar. The drama will be on air on every Saturday and Sunday at 8:30 PM (Indian Standard Time). Humsafar drama first episode will go on air today. It is a big achievement of Humsafar team as Indian channel is airing Pakistani drama which usually does not happen.

Humsafar drama was aired from September 2011 to March 2012. The drama was directed by Sarmad Sultan Khoosat. The drama was based on a novel “Humsafar” which was written by Farhat Ishtiaq. The main cast of the drama was Fawad Afzal Khan, Mahira Khan and Naveen Waqar. Humsafar drama is one of the biggest hit of Pakistan’s drama industry and was appreciated from all corners. The drama was critically acclaimed and it received the highest ever rating of 13.8.

Rishtey channes mostly airs those programs which have been aired on Colors TV such as Jai Shri Krishna, Bairi Piya and Jeevan Saathi. Rishtey channel was added to Virgin Media in December 2012.

      Wow !! I used to be a huge fan of humsafar n watched it from episode 3 while just fooling around on youtube n i am just glad i did that… Its the best drama of neighbours i have ever seen my friends from srilanka also loved it !!
