The local fishermen, who go to the coast for their daily earning are arrested and put up in Indian lock ups, it has been learnt. These poor people feed depends upon fishing while they are spending their lives waiting for the release of their relatives. An important coastal area Zero Point, located in interior Sindh is a society populated with local fishing feeding people.

There resides one of the families, whose head of the family, the earner, has been held up by the Indian coast men. Gul Bahar was the sole earner of his family. Far away from his family he leads painful, torturous life.

After the incident, Gul Bahar’s wife, Waziran is left to feed her, four daughters and a son. Upon being interviewed she questioned who will look after her family when her husband has been captivated? Through beggary we spend our lives, said Waziran. The victim’s niece and daughters spend days waiting for his safe release.

A month back, Gul Bahar had gone for fishing along with his fellow men. There Indian coast men held him by crossing the coastal border, hence violating the agreement.

This is one of the stories of several fishermen who have fallen prey to Indian violators.

The Pakistani victims do not plea the government for raising their financial conditions. All they look up for is release of them through government intervention from Indian lock ups where they are living life in misery.
