Indian Movies couldn’t Get Permission in Pakistan on Eid ul Fitr

Lahore: A Bold step has been taken from Federal Government to improve Pakistani Film Industry. Government didn’t give permission to any Indian film for exhibition in Pakistan on Eid ul Fitr Days. The Federal Cultural Minister Pir Aftab Hussain Shah Jilani told media about this decision.

On other hand, Many Cinema Owners also announced to support Pakistani Movies on Eid. Cinema Owners received lots of pressure in this regard but they refused to present any movie from neighbor country on these special days.

It’s pertinent to mention here that Bollywood movie “Chennai Express” staring Shahrukh Khan was expected to launch on Eid. Now this movie will not able to exhibit on Pakistani cinemas.

This Year Three Pakistani Movies are releasing on Eid. These Films are as follows

  1. Ishq Khuda by Shehzad Rafique
  2. Main Hoon Shahid Afridi by Humayun Saeed
  3. Josh by Amina Sheikh

A strong protest is going on Social Media against upcoming lollywood movies. According to details, Humayun Saeed’s Main Hoon Shahid Afridi is facing lots of public angriness due to immoral dances and dressings of Mahnoor Baloch, Mathira and Ayesha Omar.
