IRI Survey: Tehreek-e-Insaf Number One Party

The recent survey conducted by the US-based International Republican Institute (IRI) shows that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is the most popular political party of Pakistan. The survey shows that PTI led with 31 percent votes, Nawaz Sharif’s PML-N was the second leading party with 27 percent votes and government run party PPP was at third position with 16 percent votes.

Imran Khan has claimed many times on different political talk show and in Jalsa’s that Tehreek-e-Insaf will sweep the next general elections but according to survey PTI is still the second most popular party of Punjab and Sindh after PML-N and PPP respectively.

It seems that Imran Khan’s party will win the seats in next general elections but it is not easy to sweep elections. Imran Khan himself claims that these surveys are mostly correct, so will he accept that the surveys show that he is still not in the position to clean sweep the general next elections.
