Islamabad Sector G-9, Comfortable Living Area

Accessible via Kashmir Highway and 9th Avenue, Sector G-9 is one of Islamabad’s oldest neighborhoods. It is home primarily to government officials and middle-income groups, who have been living there for decades. Pleasant living… With a well-maintained infrastructure, Sector G-9 provides residents with several amenities that contribute towards making it a pleasant area to live in. These include sprawling parks equipped with jogging tracks and playgrounds, branches of some of Islamabad’s best-known schools, as well as several commercial pockets, including the G-9 Markaz which is located in the centre of the sector.

A Markaz for everyone… The G-9 Markaz attracts custom from across Islamabad. This is due to the presence of a plethora of shops that have been there for as long as anyone can remember; you can literally find everything under the sun there, be it books, clothes, furniture, groceries, homeopathic medicines and stationery – at reasonable rates. For a more upscale shopping experience, visit one of the newly constructed malls nearby, where high-end brands and spas can be found – ideal for relaxing after a shopping marathon.

Kababs, broast and ice-cream… Some odd Islamabad’s best eateries can be found at the Markaz including Sufi Restaurant – best known for mouth-watering chapli kababs – Lahore Broast , Punjab Chat Palace and Shahi BBQ, as well as Tehzeeb Bakers – famous for its frosty milkshakes and homemade ice-cream. The trendy Lacarne Cafe, which has been established recently , is the place to see and be seen.

The real estate take…. Sector G-9 is complete built-up. Residential property options include apartments and houses; commercial property options include standalone shops in commercial pockets and retains space in newly constructed malls. Prices and rentals increase by nearly 25% every year.

In a nutshell…. While Sector G-9 is not as upscale as other neighbourhood. And thanks to the presence of the G-9 Markaz, it definitely one of the go-to places for anyone looking to go on a shopping spree.
