Lahore: Family system and societies often face serious consequences where the women are deprived to observe hijab on the name of human rights and liberalism in the western societies. Restriction to practice the very right and snatching the true assets from women that is observing veil and hijab has resulted in vulgarity especially when women are seen uncovered in the advertisements for commercial purpose.
Jamat e Islami General Secretary Liaquat Baloch expressed these views at a rally organised by the party women and family wing on Tuesday in accordance with the observance of World Hijab Day celebrated globally on 4 of September to give due importance to the observing of covering of women body as commanded by ALLAH.
The rally was led by Begum Samiah Raheel Qazi and Aafia Sarwar,the assistant secretary general of JI’s women wing
The women said that western societies have been trying to impose westernisation on Muslims but JI would continue its struggle towards enforcing Islamic system.
